Apple Coaster

Description

This coaster is quick and easy to stitch and may also be made into an ornament for your holiday tree. The coasters are available at most craft and hobby stores.  This basic counted thread piece is a good piece for anybody and especially for those wishing to learn Hardanger. The apple shapes are created using kloster blocks, the primary building block of every hardanger piece. This design is also fun for the more advanced stitcher incorporating different stitches to give the piece texture and the illusion of depth.
